Sarina Russo Dalby

Earn and Learn

It is now even easier to access on-the-job training with incentives available to local businesses and workers thanks to Sarina Russo Apprenticeship Services.
Manager Margie Bradbury is proud to introduce new Industry Consultant Luke Medcalf who will assist employers and apprentices to explore training opportunities in the Dalby region.
“Luke joins the team with a wealth of experience in employment services, an extensive knowledge across industry sectors and experience with various community organisations and sporting groups, making him a useful resource for anyone interested in local training,” says Margie.
“As an apprenticeships service, we are responsible for providing all interested parties with information to help them engage in training opportunities. The Federal Government supports us by providing incentives to employers who facilitate apprenticeships and offering financial aid to those undertaking them.
“High school students and recent graduates should ask Luke about the ‘Tools for Your Trade’ grants available to apprentices in trades affected by the skills shortage.”
Any small or large business owners from Dalby and the Surat Basin can take advantage of the chance to earn and learn.
“Training opportunities are not just for new workers - employers can also up-skill current staff to meet industry standards. Training programs reward every aspect of a business, including employees’ personal growth along with financial returns resulting from a higher quality of service,” says Margie.
The assistance offered by Sarina Russo Apprenticeship Services is free but the team’s expertise is invaluable.
