Dimidium Workforce Village Dalby
Come Home After Work
As employment opportunities in the energy and resource sector continue to flourish in our region, so too has the demand for both temporary and long-term accommodation.
The Dimidium Group has responded to this demand via the development of innovative workplace accommodation solutions. Affectionately known as “dongas”, these temporary homes have sprung up in quick succession on Dalby’s western fringe, alongside Pioneer Caravan Park.
Boasting accommodation for 152 workers, Dimidium Group’s Pioneer Park is a fully catered community offering a range of modern facilities including a recreation room, gymnasium and pool. Set in a tidy, landscaped environment, residents can enjoy private en-suited rooms complete with television, wifi and Austar.
“Dimidium’s Workforce Villages aim to provide hassle-free accommodation to those employed in local projects.” says Bede Anderson, National Business Development Manager.
“We draw a vast clientele, from Bilfinger Berger to Queensland Rail, Arrow Energy and Lucas Drilling. Most residents are contracted for several months, however short-term accommodation is also available.”
“Creating a great community is also fundamental to the Dimidium philosophy” offers Bede.
The appointment of affable new managers Brian and Jenny Rush who were previously at the company’s Oakey and Roma sites, is certain to cement this philosophy.
Currently the Dimidium Group operates nine workforce accommodation sites throughout Queensland, including large-scale sites at Mt Isa, Collinsville and Cloncurry.
As the burgeoning energy sector continues to generate employment opportunities, workers can be certain that Dimidium Group’s Pioneer Workforce Village will ensure they are well rested.
