Dalby Chamber of Commerce and Industry
Chamber Moving Forward
The Dalby Chamber of Commerce and Industry (DCCI) is looking to its members to provide feedback and ideas for the 2010/11 financial year.
President Roz Skerman says “we are at a vital crossroads in the 100 year history of the chamber.
“Our local council is now required to have a regional focus rather than being able to focus on an individual town, which makes it even more important to maintain a strong chamber that champions Dalby.”
Roz and other members of the Chamber management team and staff have been busy attending regional forums over the past six months to ensure that Dalby’s voice is heard.
“We are working towards giving our members even more communication about what we are doing on their behalf, including the large number of national, state and regional meetings and forums we attend to represent our district.”
Roz says member support allows the chamber to promote the unique culture of Dalby and District.
“Our role is to put programs in place that connect, support and inspire the local business community. I urge our members to get involved, either by talking to a member of the management committee or contacting the office to discuss your needs and desires for the chamber.
“Whether it be a local event, a training need, support with grants or lobbying for change we are open to ideas and suggestions that will help us to lead the Dalby business community to a strong and prosperous future.”
All members are welcome to attend General Meetings on the third Wednesday of every second month at the chamber offices at
133 Cunningham St. Ph: 4662 4050
