Some years ago beauty therapist Gaylene Young started a small home business to supplement the family income.  A few years down the track and an opportunity to set-up alongside a decadent coffee culture took Gay’s home business into Dalby’s stylish new beauty ‘Day Spa’ – The Beauty Bar.
Having started her career as a beauty therapist in Monto Queensland, perfecting her skill throughout Europe and later overseeing in an exclusive London Day Spa, Gay’s exceptional skills and charismatic vision were shaped for Dalby.
“My beauty passion has offered a great career with plenty of opportunities and now I look forward to an exciting future here with my family in Dalby,” says Gay.
It was Gay’s genuine nature and personal attention that saw her receive the Exceptional Service Award for March.
Gay says that being acknowledged and rewarded for your passion is sincerely humbling.
Having recently attended the Dalby Chamber of Commerce and Industry’s ‘Small Business Training Workshops’, Gay says that her business direction has been more clearly defined and has widened her market with a new Beauty Bar website.
