Refilling Dalby with colour
The largest world-wide cartridge refilling service Cartridge World, have opened their 224th store in Australia at none other than Dalby Shoppingworld.
The new store, opened by legendary Rugby League footballer Glenn Lazarus, will deliver a first-class cartridge recycling and refilling alternative to Dalby residents.
Owners Colin and Sandra Stone say it was “a natural progression” to open a Cartridge World store in Dalby.
“Dalby seems to be a growth area where there is a demand for our services,” Sandra says.
“Our initial consultation with businesses showed that most of their cartridge refilling was done in Toowoomba or Brisbane.”
As well as providing the community with a one-stop shop to cartridges, Master Franchisee for Queensland David Smith says Cartridge World is committed to an environmentally friendly approach to business.
“We are really excited about our new strategic alliance that will remove unwanted cartridges from landfill and turn them into all kinds of products, from rulers to pool tables,” David says.
“We believe that this arrangement is a first in our industry.”
He says Cartridge World believes recycling is important, so much so they have introduced a Schools Cartridge Recycling Partnership to help local schools recycle their cartridges.
Cartridge collection bins are provided to schools, with a reward paid for each reusable ink or laser cartridge collected.
