The ultimate 4x4 passenger adventure is now available with Stonestreet’s Coaches thanks to their purpose built off-road 4 X 4 tour coach.
Phil Stonestreet, who operates the company with his sister Bev Mules, says Stonestreet’s is pleased to announce this new style of excursion.
“Our first 4x4 tropical adventure toured recently to Australia’s most northern point Cape York,” says Phil.
Travellers enjoyed an inclusive 17 day adventure package of vast grasslands dotted with huge termite mounds, palm lined beaches, unspoiled rainforests, colourful wildlife and the experience of standing at the top of our magnificent country.
One traveller said how hard it was to describe their feeling when standing on Cape York Peninsula.
“Is it pride? Is it satisfaction? Contentment, or all of these? Whatever the feeling we all achieved it together.”
Phil says that the many kilometres of bitumen, red dirt, corrugations, rocky creeks and muddy tracks were handled with ease and comfort thanks to the new 4x4 vehicle.
Stonestreet’s Tour Coordinator, Rob Brown has a busy 2011 schedule planned for the 4x4 coach including another Cape York adventure and an east to west tour across Australia.
"The varied tours available to exciting destinations and events throughout Australia fill fast.  Our free to join Travel Club provides members with advance tour notices and more details," says Rob.
Stonestreet's Coaches also operate the local district school bus run and are available to industry for transporting workers during major development projects.  Driving positions are currently available.
