Fitness and Fun at Bungeeba | Bungeeba Sport and Recreation Centre
With a fully equipped gym now open to the public, Bungeeba Sport and Recreation Centre is offering locals a new place to get fit and have fun.
Bungeeba Centre Manager Carolyn Hoopert is encouraging everyone to drop in and check it out.
“We’ve transformed part of our building to include quality gym facilities for those who want to work out independently, with a good level of privacy,” she says.
“It’s open weekdays for the whole community to use at their leisure, setting their own pace in a relaxed environment. Our membership prices are very competitive and we ensure our numbers are kept to a sustainable level so there’s no shortage of equipment.”
After a work out, members can wind-down and take advantage of male and female saunas. Those with a little fight left in them are welcome to have a bout in the new boxing club on Tuesday and Thursday nights.
Bungeeba Centre attracts all kinds of people for different activities, with conference room facilities and multipurpose courts for hire. After school sports activities offered to primary school children each afternoon include touch football, tennis and basketball. Playgroup for under school age children is held each Thursday at 9:30am.
“Over the summer school holidays we’re running an action-packed program for 6 – 12 year olds including sports, artistic and cultural activities,” says Carolyn.
