When Simon and Tanya Spence, together with their two young boys, packed up their city home and headed west for a tree-change little did they know they were destined to channel their love for art into a specialised business.
In 2004 the Spence family found themselves in Dalby establishing Edges Art and Framing. While the main focus is on custom framing, Edges has become a hub for the thriving arts community supplying professional artist materials and a shopfront gallery.
Tanya, an artist herself, skillfully assists clients with every framing project - treasured WWI medals, an antique christening gown, a labour-of-love tapestry, a child’s first painting, a hard- earned Diploma and even sporting memorabilia.
“We use the highest quality materials and techniques, including UV break-resistant glass that encapsulates the item into a protective environment,” says Tanya.
All framing is completed meticulously on site with integrity and precision.
