New Manager
Dalby Chamber of Commerce’s new manager, Erica Stewart, has hit the ground running since taking on the role in late May.  “There are exciting times ahead and I am dedicated to the growth and prosperity of the Dalby business community and the collective success of our members,” says Erica. Chamber President Roz Skerman welcomed Erica to the team and thanked previous manager Sarah Grant for her dedication and hard work.

The Dalby Chamber is proud to be a part of Spring Sensations and promote Dalby as a sophisticated liveable mecca of regional Queensland. Crystallising Your Success
The 2010 Business Excellence Awards (BEA) will be presented at the Annual Dinner on October 22 featuring Marty Fields as special guest MC and a spectacular “Paddock to Palate” gourmet meal showcasing regionally sourced product. Chamber Manager Erica Stewart is encouraging businesses to nominate.  “Don’t be daunted by the process. One of our significant winners last year completed their application in a simple dot point format. I’d like to see local businesses take this opportunity and grow from it as previous winners have done.”

As well as all the fun and festivities, there is a serious side to the Chamber of Commerce.  Representatives of the Chamber have been intrinsically involved in a range of projects and think-tanks on local, regional and statewide levels including the Surat Basin Future Directions Plan and the development of the new Advance Western Downs initiative.
