Helping you over Life’s hurdles
As we progress through life we all face hurdles and during these times we need support. Sometimes our families and friends are not able to help due to location, experience or lack of specialist knowledge.
The Myall Youth and Community Network Centre Inc. (MYCNC) is a centre that offers discreet access to a variety of community service providers, employing trained counsellors with the experience and knowledge required to assist in difficult times.
Centre Coordinator Lyn Clancy explains “at MYCNC we provide community members with access to services, forums, support groups, workshops and seminars to encourage, empower and improve an individual’s future.”
MYCNC is centrally located at Iona,
169 Cunningham Street, Dalby and is a
one-stop-hub of referral and support services.
“During the last five years MYCNC have identified local service provision gaps and established effective support links,”
advises Lyn.
“We now offer dedicated professional suites to DISCO Dalby – ‘Partnering schools, linking with business and supporting youth’, the Alcohol & Drug Federation of Queensland, Mission Australia’s Australian Apprenticeship Centre, Rural Women’s Outreach Legal Service, Mission’s Reconnect Program, Youth Justice Conferencing, Child Safety, Relationships Australia and Legal Aid.”
MYCNC is a not for profit organisation. Their extensive facilities include video conferencing and can be hired for workshops, seminars or conferences.
If you would like to be part of this community service provider hub, either with a permanent office space or as part of your outreach service contact MYCNC on 4662 0152 or email mycnc@bigpond.com. Website: www.mycnc.com.au |
