ONE YEAR ON AND GOING STRONG!

Dalby Shoppingworld is soon to celebrate its first birthday. The impressive growth in Centre performance can be attributed to the excellent amenity the Centre offers and the already strong retailer list.

Local people can now shop locally, instead of driving to Toowoomba and beyond, saving valuable time and money on petrol, and wear and tear on cars.

More than that, it has stopped the exporting of retail and service jobs, especially for young local people, to areas to the east of Dalby.

NOW HERE’S YOUR OPPORTUNITY...

There are still limited opportunities to share in the Centre’s success.

Dalby Shoppingworld encourages existing businesses and entrepreneurs to consider the establishment of new businesses or the expansion of existing ones in the few remaining sites.

“There are some key retail areas that are not yet represented in the centre”, said Leasing Manager John Gimpel. “There’s a great opportunity for locals to open a business in those uses, either based on their own formula, or as part of a franchise group... and incentives are available to assist with establishment in these last few tenancies.”

Centre Manager, Jon Russell, believes that Dalby Shoppingworld will only continue to grow as further resource projects commence.

“With the growing coal and energy industries attracting many new workers to the surrounding area, it’s no wonder Dalby Shoppingworld is experiencing a steady increase in foot traffic”, explained Jon.

“Dalby’s rising house and land values have given locals equity in their home and added many well paid jobs in the region. People may be able to use this equity to get into a business they had always wanted to, but could not previously have afforded”, he added.
