Best of the best in customer service

ANZ Bank has recruited new Dalby branch management heads to advance the bank’s reputation for excellence in customer service.

Branch Manager Renee Smith and Agribusiness Manager Rob Smith will head the Dalby team to deliver skilled advice in product knowledge, market opportunities and financial management.

Renee says ANZ proudly holds the title of ‘Best of the Best’ in the 2006/07 Australian Service Excellence Awards as well as Money Magazine’s ‘Bank of the Year’ and attributes much of this success to the excellent relationships ANZ has developed with its customers.

“We believe in getting to know our customers, having fun, and supporting them through the long-term,” says Renee.

ANZ understands the significant role the Dalby region plays in Australia’s agricultural production and as new agribusiness manager, Rob’s focus will be on supporting the financial security of local rural operators.

Rob says: “Our aim is to help clients retain profitable rural operations despite prolonged drought.

“Adverse weather is causing considerable concern out there in the community and people are looking to diversify into other markets to mitigate farm risk and ensure their businesses remain successful.”

ANZ last year celebrated 100 years serving the Dalby region and Renee says the Dalby team intends to build on its strong relationship with the community.

“ANZ recognises that there are many changes happening in Dalby and we see a lot of opportunity for continued growth.

“The energy sector is expanding and this is flowing on to local small business and housing.

“Our focus is to go forward from here and service the region’s expanding needs with an extensive range of products and superior customer support.”
