A proud history of quality service

The National Australia Bank has a long and proud history within the Dalby region.

For some 140 years, the National in Dalby has been delivering quality service to the local community.

It is the second longest serving branch in Queensland with a customer base that stretches as far as Kumbia, Bell, Jandowae, Warra, Tara, Moonie, Cecil Plains, Bowenville as well as the immediate Dalby area.

The agribusiness team (pictured) has an extensive knowledge of the local rural industry with 18 years collective experience in agribusiness service.

Senior National Agribusiness Manager in Dalby Gavin Pontin believes that getting off the phone and going on-farm gives the best understanding of each customer’s farming enterprise.

“We have a policy of going on-farm so we can understand the goals of the business and drive it in that direction.

“We put together a package that can be tailored to customers on an interest only basis, or principal and interest reducing, depending on the stage of their business.

“As a team we are committed to providing innovative agribusiness banking solutions that help customers achieve their financial targets.”

The majority of lending applications are approved locally providing a quick and efficient turn-around for customers.

The National partners with a range of community-based organisations and supports the next generation of agribusiness people as sponsor of the secondary school Best in Agricultural Science Award.

The agribusiness team is actively involved in a number of other worthwhile local causes such as Australian Cottonweek, Zonta, and various sporting teams.
