For writers, the Inky Fingers writing group meets monthly to share and encourage the literary achievements of fellow writers. The group is a mix of ages and interests but all enjoy the process of writing in its many forms. Some have already seen their works published and the group is now applying for funding to publish its first anthology.

For those who prefer to work with clay and mould a vase, platter or decorative piece, Dalby Potters is the group for you.

Forum and Toastmasters offer opportunities to learn about meeting procedure and practise the art of public speaking in friendly and supportive surroundings. And if you want to broaden your audience Dalby Community Radio is always on the lookout for talented announcers.

Sewers of all ages and abilities can join the Dalby Quilting and Applique Club that meets monthly, generating wonderful pieces for regional displays. Internationally renowned quilter Mary Ellen Hopkins, of California USA, is the most recent high-profile speaker to address the club.
