Dalby vital to Wagners mix

The flow on from new industries is generating local business opportunity, and smart operators are taking note.

The internationally recognised Wagners group has already stepped on board with large construction projects and is keeping pace with further developments throughout the Dalby district.

The company is a major supplier in the fields of concrete, quarries, transport, composite fibre technologies, and concrete pumping services, with 18 plants across Queensland and the Northern Territory, including the Dalby site.

Margie Bradbury, responsible for Wagners Business Development and Marketing, believes Dalby is ideally located to take advantage of regional growth.

“The Dalby plant is the flagship for our western operations. It supports our project involvement with both the Kogan Creek and Braemar gas-fired power station projects and services the region with the help of our modern fleet of MACK agitators.”

And as demand increases, the company continues to boost its physical and human resources to maintain quality service.

“We’ve almost doubled our staffing levels over the past two years with more than 650 employees across the group. We’re involved in a number of significant projects, across Australia and internationally, and provide training to ensure we deliver the best services available.”

Wagners supports good corporate citizenship and recognises its role as a key member of the Dalby community since 1999.

“We really are sincere in the belief that we have a responsibility to give back to the communities we work in and we will continue to support the district’s growth.
