Pam Top Scores In Service

Pam Bradley's exceptional service style is straightforward and genuine - customers always come first. With this approach it's not surprising that the customers of Hedges Sport Store 'just love her'.

A keen sportswoman, it was Pam's enjoyment of sports that first attracted her to the position of shop assistant with Hedges some 20 years ago. She now works in all facets of the business, from preparing accounts to presenting stock, and is always on hand to help customers.

Whether it's gearing up for the new sporting season, accessorising in the latest fashion and footwear, ordering trophies or selecting that very special first bike - Pam will go the extra mile to meet her customer's needs.

"I try to give people the same level of service that I appreciate. It feels good to know someone has gone out of their way to help you."

Leaving customers with the feeling of 'really being looked after' is why Pam was nominated to receive the Chamber of Commerce Exceptional Service Award.

While winning the award for March came as a surprise to the lady herself, Hedges Sport Store owners Brian and Shirley Hedge insist it's well deserved.

"Pam is outstanding in every way. The way she works and presents herself, her attitude and the attention she gives customers is what makes small businesses like ours successful," said Brian.

Graciously thanking her nominees, Pam made special mention of the sharing and caring work environment enjoyed by the Hedges' team.

"I believe if you love what you're doing it shows, and is reflected in the way you deal with people".

Hedges' customers would agree and will be happy to know that Pam plans to continue working for many years to come - in between her squash and golf commitments of course!
