Local Telstra Licensee, Mark Slade is excited about his new concept store complete with live, walk in make a call, handsets.
“Our new format store provides locals with the latest handsets that are all ‘live’.  Allowing customers to try before they buy,” confirms Mark.
Mark says that often people purchase the wrong handset for our local transmission conditions or a handset that proves difficult for people who have minor disabilities or different preferences.
“Our local knowledge together with a live demonstration provides customers with the very best in telecommunications customer service for our region.”
In store customers can also feel and explore other technologies such as the Telstra T-Box (described as a new internet and TV experience), gain a greater understanding of the benefits and access options for broadband technology or receive an account review that could highlight upgrade options and/or bundling benefits for their individual needs.
“We are here to assist locals receive the very best communication products and services at a great price,” says Mark.
Mark, a local telecommunications expert, also visits customers onsite where additional remote considerations can hinder a clear and crisp reception.
“In store we can accurately understand signal strength with a GPS coordinate. However, in some instances additional onsite structures create interference and we then need to install additional hardware to deliver a quality signal.”
“It is not just about selling the latest handset.  We want to ensure that customers are appropriately resourced for their individual circumstances.”
