As the Dalby Picnic Race Day draws near, race and party goers alike are gearing up to experience all they have come to expect of this yearly ritual. The premier race meet at Bunya Park Racecourse on Sunday May 3 will once again cater to corporate players, keen punters and social revellers with a full program of racing and entertainment.

This year a prize pool of $45,000 is on offer for the seven race program which promises to deliver first-class racing including a Calcutta run between races 4 and 5. Come dressed in style to be in the running for ‘Fashions on the Field’ prizes in the categories of Best Dressed Couple, Best Dressed Man, Contemporary Lady and Classic Lady.

The Dalby Amateur Picnic Race Club is offering an attractive corporate package with fully catered buffet and drink tickets included. Tables of 10 can also be pre-purchased for those wanting to secure a place under the marquee but tables are limited.

Picnic baskets can be ordered ahead of the day and refreshments are available for purchase but please do not bring BYO alcohol as it will not be permitted. When the excitement of the track winds up there’s the chance to stay on ‘til late with popular band ‘Three Days Ago’ live on stage from 5.30pm.
