Services for us all @ Dalby
The Myall Youth and Community Network Centre Inc. (MYCNC) is just that… a centre for you!
A not-for-profit independent organisation which has been established by dedicated community leaders wanting to provide a one-stop range of services for social wellbeing within our community.
MYCNC, currently located at IONA (169 Cunningham Street, Dalby), is bridging the gap of social disconnectedness and aims to increase the number of provided services for our Dalby region.
Centre Coordinator Lyn Clancy has recently been advised that the Dalby Regional Council together with the Federal and State Government have recognised MYCNC’s success and importance with the provision of funding and in-kind assets.

The funding and assets will assist to construct a purpose built community and youth facility at Diplock Park (Cnr Nicholson and Drayton Streets, Dalby).“The completed facility will provide a range of community services including family assistance, counseling, support groups, legal and tenancy advice, vocational training and youth support services,” confirms Lyn.

The concept plans, created by local firm Arthur Martin Design and Drafting, have been so popular that the permanent offices and working spaces in the new facility are already fully booked. The facility will house nine private offices, a visiting health consulting room, a common reception area, a community art display area, an internal courtyard, two large open plan office areas for permanent tenants, a community computer room and one large conference room available for community use.

“This centre is progressive, will be open 24 hours a day and is a centre for everyone,” says Lyn.
