Allan Delivers Service with a Smile
If there is one thing Mandy Humberdross of Carma Coffee can rely on each week, it's that her fresh produce and groceries will be delivered on time and with a smile.
The fresh goods come direct from Betros Bros Dalby and the smile is courtesy of delivery driver Allan Bartkowski.
"As a business owner I appreciate good service," Mandy said. "I nominated Allan for the Chamber's Exceptional Service Award because he's always happy and always goes out of his way to help us."
At local supermarket store Betros Bros, Allan is responsible for collating and delivering orders twice a day. His customers include residents, businesses and local authorises in Dalby and surrounding districts.
Allan's approach to customer service is to treat all customers like friends. So as he would any friend, he strives to take care of his customers and keep them happy.
A part of the service Allan provides is to marry his knowledge of available product lines and current specials, with individual customer preferences.
"He knows what customers want and makes sure they receive good products. Our customers know they can rely on him," said Acting Manager at Betros Bros Cheryl Sankey.
A local family man, Allan enjoys the daily contact with people and working in his hometown. "Dalby is a good size - it's not too big and not too small. Best of all, everyone is friendly."
In his 20th year with Betros Bros, Allan was flattered to be selected for the June Exceptional Service Award. Passing on his sincere thanks to his nominees Allan said it was great to know he was appreciated.
As a part of his prize Allan receives two free movie tickets thanks to Dalby Civic Theatre.
The Chamber of Commerce congratulates Dalby Town Council Manager of Engineering Services and Deputy CEO Stephen Hegedus who received the Exceptional Service Award in May.
