With this in mind, Simplicity Australia recently invited more than 100 dealers to explore the company's manufacturing base in Dalby.

General Manager Troy Law said the three-day conference was designed to build up dealer knowledge about Simplicity Australia's products and how they are produced.

"Previously we've gone to capital cities to discuss our product but this time we brought our dealers to Dalby so they could see what we do and how we do it."

"We wanted to show them where we're coming from and what we do in our local area as well."

Simplicity Australia manufactures the most comprehensive and innovative range of Air Seeders in Australia with a reputation for quality that has attracted solid national and international markets.

Dealers from South Africa and many parts of Australia were able to view the company's large-scale operations first-hand and understand why Simplicity Australia holds a reputation for excellence.

Visiting dealers updated their knowledge on the company's latest developments via demonstrations and practical on-site applications.

"Dealers were able to gain all the information they need to keep farmers informed and by hosting the conference in Dalby we were also showing the town off to people who wouldn't usually come here," Troy said.

Simplicity Australia employs around 80 staff and is preparing to further extend its manufacturing capabilities with the construction of a major new complex.

Plans to invest in a purpose-built manufacturing plant reflect the company's confidence in the Dalby region.

"Dalby has always had a good manufacturing industry and has built up a solid skill base. There are no problems with freight and infrastructure costs are lower than in major centres," Troy said.

The size of the company's manufacturing operation has progressively expanded since Managing Director David Law obtained a small Dalby business - Simplicity Air Seeders - 24 years ago.

Today, Simplicity Australia is a major production company producing an extensive range of Air Seeders and cultivators.

The popularity of the products is reflected in strong sales growth - a trend that is likely to continue as the company works to expand its market share and increase manufacturing output.
