We currently have two Electrical and Instrumentation Technician positions available for candidates with industrial experience from chemical manufacturing or similar. You should have an "A" Class Electrical Licence with Instrumentation qualifications and experience in working with PLC's and DCS platforms.

Role responsibilities:

• Ensure electrical maintenance is undertaken professionally in accodance with the relevant asset strategies and plant strategies
• Investigate and determine the root cause of failures in designated areas of plant using a wide range of tools and test equipment
• Ensure electrical maintenance work meets established technical standards and all compliance needs
• Review work methods and processes to identify areas of improvement to ensure plant is operating to maximum efficiency
• Monitor and report your plant area performance against plan and recommend remedial action as necessary

Role requirements:

• Trade certificate as Electrical Fitter/Mechanic and Instrument Fitter with "A" Grade Electrical Licence issued from an Australian State/Territory Electrical authority.
• Minimum 3 years experience as an Instrument / Electrical technician within the manufacturing industries
• Experience with High Voltage switching and electrical equipment in hazardous areas.
• Experience with DCS control systems and Boiler Management
